June 2, 2010 | | keithkelly

Keith Kelly isn’t afraid to shake up the politicians leading our state and nation toward a form of socialism. Keith is working to STOP WASTEFUL SPENDING and REDUCE SPECIAL INTEREST INFLUENCE in Columbia.

– Keith Kelly strongly supports Nikki Haley’s on-the-record voting bill to stop politicians from wasting our hard earned money.

– Keith Kelly is pushing spending caps to limit the amount of money the politicians can spend and the amount government can grow each year.

- Keith Kelly saw Jim DeMint’s earmark fight in Washington and helped bring it to state government. Now all secret spending projects in the budget are made public so that we know which politicians are

– Keith Kelly wrote the new criminal sentencing bill that will keep violent criminals in prison longer while saving our prison system money during this tough economic time.

- Keith Kelly supported many restructuring bills to clean up government waste and inefficiencies, including Employment Security Commission restructuring.

A Note from Keith

“The truth is that when I first got to Columbia I did vote for bad projects in the budget because I didn’t know they were there. In my first two years our system lacked the transparency that uncovered these pork projects. When I found out, I pushed Nikki Haley’s roll call voting bill, spending caps and the earmark reform that uncovered the pork projects being secretly put into our budget by special interest controlled politicians”
