Shake up the System
I know you’re frustrated. I am too.
Our state and nation are suffering because out-of-touch politicians have been spending our futures away instead of basing their decisions on the conservative principles that promote economic freedom. Special interest groups have become more important than America’s working families. That’s not right!
I know a lot of you want to toss out every incumbent legislator and I understand why. Please know that I stand with you and I’m working as hard as I can to shake up Columbia for you. Here are three things I believe we must do immediately.
Stop Insane Spending! I’m pushing spending limits, earmark reform and on-the-record voting to stop irresponsible politicians from wasting your hard-earned tax dollars. Pointless spending is the first step to fixing our economy.
Do More With Less! In this tough economic time, we have to spend every single dollar where it really matters. That’s why I authored new criminal sentencing reform that will keep violent criminals in prison longer while saving you money.
Fight Federal Government Intrusion! The federal government is dropping the ball on every promise it’s made and driving our economy into the ground. We must give our Attorney General the ability to fight for our states’ rights against these harmful government takeovers and extreme social programs. We must also realize that the federal government is not going to solve our illegal immigration problem, so we must give our state and local law enforcement the tools to solve this problem just like Arizona did.
